Do you believe it is possible for less effective teachers to change their teacher talk behaviors and from that change their professional beliefs or philosophies? Or do you believe that it is necessary to first change an ineffective teacher's beliefs before true changes in classroom interactions can take place?

Posting for BA (2nd grade):
I believe that if a teacher changes their interaction with their students that their students will respond differently to them. Thus a more positive interaction will direct the teacher to automatically change their beliefs due to the students' concrete responses.
